To view the pictures in a slideshow, click the “[View with PicLens]“. I recommend using the slideshow, quick nifty application for those who are too lazy to click each picture and also customizable timings for personal preferencing. To view a single picture in the largest available quality, select the picture you wish to view and it will automatically show the large version in a flash frame (might not work if the whole page is not loaded yet). Click again to exit or using the navigation buttons at the bottom of the screen to view other pictures.

Hey peeps, some overdue pictures… As there have been some upgrades to my little gallery plugin, but basically, two general ways to view the pictures; one is the image list which you can see below, obviously, the other a slideshow function which you can use by clicking the “[View with PicLens]“. That’s the number of days since I have last updated my blog… Man, time really flies, especially when you normally wake up at 6am, go to work, work non-stop from 8am to 5.30pm, go back home, dinner at 7.30pm. Practically 3/4 the day is gone, just like that.
The past fourty two days have been pretty much like a rollercoaster, ups and downs, problems at work, among friends and family. At least, I can get some breather now since things are slightly less hectic, for now. Work @ work is getting less especially with the closure of the Financial Year. Just tieing up a few more loose ends and I should be able to have more spare time on my hands, probably go learn driving or improve my photography skills.
Speaking of photography, made a last minute submission of my last minute compilation of pictures portfolio to Objectifs: Shooting Home 2009. Sadly, didn’t get in, maybe because I asked for this scholarship where it pays the full bulk of the course fee of over SGD$400… Hahas. Bad economy…
Jenny’s just went back to Australia and 19th ODAC is participating in a few open competitions this year. NVM 2009 was a great experience and I was able to get a media pass to photograph the event and ODACians climbing their way up. I was able to experience some of it as I climb up and down approximately 20 stories to photograph people. I took the lift for the rest of the way… I think if I combined the total vertical distance I covered, I think I conquered Republic Plaza at least twice, if not thrice! Hahahas.
I guess I shall stop here and keep the rest for later…

I took a screenshot of my Facebook profile about a few weeks back, but forgot all about it till today. Its about this application, Typing Speed, I have added and took me about 25 minutes to beat most of my friends who tried this app and got ranked 6th among my friends. I’m also at the 85.8 percentile among all Facebook users who have this app.I guess I type pretty fast.
The test is quite tricky because of its layout and the words used. For example, the countdown timer is placed much lower than the text you are about to type. So if you are too concentrated with the timer and when its time to type, you might lose some precious miliseconds to seconds trying to refocus onto the text you are supposed to type. Also, sentences with random words that don’t link together will appear, making the test harder. Letters that are capitalised have to be followed. And do take note of words like though and through as you might type an extra or less alphabet and lose precious time again while under pressure to type at your best speed.
If you are wondering why the last post is only 2WPM, its because I was trying to figure out the application and realise I was not in sync with the application. Hence the first 2 words were correct and the rest was wrong. Maybe I was just typing too fast….. ^^
2302Hrs - 83WPM! Now 5th among friends and @ 88.0 percentile among Facebook users! Still a long way to go to 100WPM…
2304Hrs - 84WPM! Stats still remain the same…
0003Hrs - After a bathe and rest…… Its 94WPM!!!! WOOHOO!!! But only the Facebook stats went up to 93.9 percentile. Shucks…
