Me, I just went biking and aiming to get myself killed on the nice, bumpy and uneven roads of Singapore, or at least the eastern part of this green country. Armed with 2 front lights, one back light and 1litre of water, I set off on my adventure. The process of getting myself killed had already started before I even started biking, my front wheel was bent so badly, that some of the spokes were loose and making sounds. Next, without sufficient air in my tubes, I sped off in the city direction. Average constant speed was approximately 27km/h to 33km/h. (Low Air + High Speed = High % Of Getting Killed)
I biked pass BDS, Tanah Merah MRT, Bedok South Road (really scary roads), TJC, a Mobil Petrol Station (didn’t pump air as I was too engrossed getting myself killed), Marine Parade Road, Victoria School & JC, Marine Parade Library, Parkway Parade and at last I stopped at a Mobil petrol station on the way to Kallang Stadium to pump more air into the tyres.
Duration of biking was already 35+ mins. I exercised my usual stunts of cutting traffic lights while red, going to be red or going to be green and cutting lanes of roads. Parkway parade was nearly a killer, with everyone going home and shops closing down, the traffic was “exceptionally” light. Pathetic. Combined with some uneven roads, crazy/speeding/sleepy/inpatient drivers, big fat ass buses, taxis and lots of hands sticking out of the pavement (go figure), it was a the best combination to get killed, but amazingly I survived, damm.
From the Mobil station, I went pass City Plaza, which was almost as crazy as Parkway Parade, some school, then TKGS and back to Parkway Parade. From there on, I followed the route that I had taken earlier. Interestingly, I noticed a number of police cars. They didn’t stop me though. Weird. Still trying to get myself killed… On the way back, on Marine Parade Road, almost all the traffic lights were against me. First, it looks green, when you are like 30m from it, it changes to yellow and you know what color is next. It just pisses me off and I have to jam brake everything the lights does that. Wasting my energy trying to get myself killed.
More stunts were executed but my favourite of all in the whole trip was cutting up to 6 lanes of roads and turning at junctions. Its a little hard to explain, here is an illustration,
Instead of using the proper methods of crossing the roads horizontally/vertically while using the traffic lights at junctions, I diagonally cut across the junctions. (Don’t make any sense? I understand, as I am talking in some alien language.) Me, being the blue color and a typical vehicle being red. A typical vehicle would turn from lane 3, I am turning from lane 1!!! This stunt was done at a handful of junctions such as the junction at Bedok South Ave 1 with East Coast Road and New Upper Changi Road with Bedok South Ave 3 which is just before Tanah Merah MRT. Interestingly, the traffic lights were already yellow when I started doing my little stunt, by the time I was in the middle of the road, it was already red. Also, there were lots of debris on the middle of the junction, increasing my chances of getting killed, but the odds were against me. WHY???
Anyway, I survived my adventure of trying to get myself killed. Total duration was 1 hour and 30++mins, total distance is approximately 40++ km. Now, I got to thing of more ways of increasing my odds. So maybe another time.

Okae… they day started of rather well, except for a prevalent sore throat for about 2 days already. PE was enjoyable, I had shaved 2 minutes of my previous 2.4KM timing to 15.50mins. Yeah, I know, its a fail, but considering I haven’t been running for the past 3 months, I say its not bad, but still gotta go for early NS if I remain like this. Had soccer after that, quite a funny match… A number of the opposing members got rammed, at their “family jewels”, the body and the nose, which resulted in a bleeding. Pity. Mr Bernard Tan came over and we thought the lesson was over so we packed up, but he was complain why did we stop and he wanted to spectate. He’s lame, but a funny guy. Somewhat irritating. “Remember, the most important thing in PE is to make the teacher happy.” ARgh… Craps. Physics was sadly sad, because “you know who”(I will not say any names) was lecturing, so, yeah. There was a bird in the lecture theatre. Mini bird park I guess. I had 2 hours of lectures sometime after the first one. GP was funny, Ms Karen Ong was lecturing and I think she is going to vomit blood. Nelson, was sleeping and she caught him. She was asking what class was he from and he bluff her, which she obviously didn’t believe. So she looked down the row and saw a nice looking guy (hehe), Fu Keong. ARgh… She asked me and I had to answer, correctly or else she will kick me out of Pre-U Seminar or mark me for the rest of my JC life, sorry Nelson. Haha. Another thing was, this ***** teacher was being “extra”. As the GP question papers were being passed down the row, she asked me, you don’t have right? Raise up your hand. So being quite tired, I compiled, but I was thinking, “EH, can you FUCKING SEE the paper is being passed down?” Bloody crap. And she fussed about the whole lecture group after the whole lecture and overshoot the allocated time which was already overshot. *****, FULL-STOP
On the bus home, instead of a swift 30mins to Bedok interchange from SRJC(those who don’t know, I am in SRJC, surprised? Yeah, be surprised), it took me 1 hour. Why? A concrete truck, a bus and a lorry got into a major accident, which blocked of 2-3 lanes of roads and left 1 open only. The concrete truck flipped over to its side and the left side of the bus got smashed totally. No passengers, luckily.
Went to a doctor after having dinner, because of the sore throat, cough, flu and mild fever. The best combination to get sick. Got an MC to skip school. But I plan not to. Some may wonder I am weird. But well, surprise. That’s how my day was like on a “Special” Tuesday.
