On day 3, after our morning “activities” we went back to LT 27 for Panel Discussion I and II. Panelists from Panel Discussion II were people who affected the lives of others in a charity kind of way. It was very touching and heart breaking hearing these people life and the lives of others who are mentally handicapped etc etc. The questions asked were equally touching and heart breaking even though they ate up some of lunch time. I wished that there would have been longer Q & A sessions for both Panel Discussions. We had Parallel Discussion III before having tea and some Small Group Discussion back at PGP. Some personal time was given which was dutifully used to resupply one with more food and beverages. We had more workshops and supper and then later lights out for most of us. For me, Khalis and Yuhui, we went an extra mile to do a video about our Seminar Group. It was kind of a tribute/funny video highlighting some parts of the PUS 06. Yuhui dosed off first, then after and hour or so, it was my turn… Khalis survived till approximately 0400 hrs the next day.

The next day, the usual activites, then we headed of to do some Guerilla Fliming. We went to Kim’s SPA at Hotel Rendezvous. It was fun fliming and all of us gained some experience and bonded a little closer. After fliming, we had a break before starting of we the post production process, editing. My group had ran into lots of trouble. The slow fat ass laptop kept “hanging” and we lost lots of time. We had to rush to meet the deadline. I also meet this guy who was working under as a technician for the Guerilla Fliming, he helped me burn my pictures onto CDs that I brought, as such, I didn’t had to worry about running out of space taking pictures.
After editing, we had dinner before we could view our “products”. Personally, I felt that my groups was kinda plain, it was the usual documentary type of thing. Khalis’ group had great storyboard while “The Keymaker” was quite touching, I would give it 5 thumbs up for the superb storyboard. After that, most of us skipped supper and went back to our rooms. Most of us dosed off immediately. Just looking back, I realized how fast 4 days passed, just in a flash and tommorrow would be the last day and I just hope another few more days would be a much more wonderful experience.

The last day, we don our formal college, had breakfast before transitting to NUS MPH (multi purpose hall). The education minister came and all of us had tea with him! Sort of. In groups we listened to people asking questions and the minister answering them. It was kind of like another panel discussion. After that, I gorged myself with more food before going around taking pictures and “evasdropping” on other groups. To sent the minister off, we “YUM SENG” with the cute little water bottles. He went off and havoc started. Water parties were going off everyway, haha. The SLOs were sabotaged by their group mates. Haha. Some were pretty drenched. Everyone later went back to PGPR, packed up and got ready to go home. For some of us, we decided to go eat lunch together at Holland Village. We left our “luggage” at Jen’s house (which was so bloody convienietly located near Buona Vista MRT) before going to explore Holland Village. We decided on having Delifrance in the end. It was kinda of awkward beacuse we had little to talk about, probably because the noisy one, Annabel wasn’t there. But still we still had some fun. After lunch, most of us took the long train ride home (of course, taking our “luggage” first). For me, it felt like it was the longest train ride… Especially when I have to transfer to an “infrequent” bus and walk another 5 mins with heavy bags and stuff and I felt like i could sleep anywhere on the ground immediately. Haha, I wished I could be an SLO next year, but too bad PJC is organizing it next year. Wish them all the best!

IT WAS A BLAST! That’s what i got to say about it. Those who didn’t went, well, you don’t know how much fun you had missed out and all the “chio bu(s)”, “suai ge(s)” and someone who was, quote “geeky cute”.
1st day was the usual admin matters. At night, we had Ice-Breakers and stuff. Personally, this is the best time to get to know your peers and make some friends! If you don’t participate, don’t bother coming to PUS. Lots of running around, chasing each other, memorising everoyone’s names and shouting them out loud, then we played seven wonders. Later, we played H20 with another group, after that we rested before having another round of H20, but this time its 2 person standing together instead of the 3. It was fun seeing the different people freaking out when they are being chased. Annabel was the kind soul who would sacrifice herself to take over a tired chaser. Jen was the sprinter who was damm hard to catch. Me, imagine someone that heavy, carrying 1kG worth of expensive camera equipment running around. Haha. Meals for the day, tea, dinnner, supper. Trust me, stockpile on food and water before the provision shop closes! Meals taste pretty medicore or bad, so snacking was common except other than for some occasions, meals were great.. Weird thing is even with an average of 4 meals a day plus some snacking, I lost 4KGs after PUS ended. I think I should go back for more of it! Haha.
Oh ya. The rooms are single, but they suck pretty bad, maybe because I am on the lower floors but its pretty hot and small. It feels stuffy and very very humid. Dust there feels like it had been collecting for a year or 2.

Well… Breakfast kinda suck, which was expected. Since we paid nothing, so expect nothing great from the food. Anyway, we were shuttled to LT 27 and we were reminded on important stuff prior to the arrival of a VIP. Then came the guest about 1/2 hour later, his keynote address and it was tea. Surprisingly tea was fantastic, the organizers probably didn’t want to give a bad impression, hehe. I heard the eclair was great, but didn’t manage to grab a bite. We had Parallel Presentation I before lunch. I was part of SRJC presentation group as the IT guy, as usual. Personally, I think we did the best among the 2 other groups. We were the most entertaining and the audience were kept awake! TJC did well too, but AJC audience were falling asleep. After lunch, I rejoined my Seminar Group to watch Parallel Presentation II, if I remembered correctly, all 3 groups did some kind of panel/discussion kind of presentation which was plain boring. HCI was the most boring. TPJC had nice graphics presentation but I thought some parts were irrelevant. I think IJC did well, considering it was their first. We had tea before going on NUS campus orienteering. It build up team bonding, but it was too short to have fun. Everything felt rushed. After sweating like a water pipe, we had our personal time before having the workshops for Guerilla Filming, this is when we got our laptops and hand phones. We had supper before lights out. For me, Milo was enough.
