First, it sucked, why, too many prizes, too little performances. I technically spent 9/10 of the time taking pictures of people getting prizes.
2nd, some prizes were just ridiculous. If you had like prizes from 1st to 3rd place, I am all right with it. But up to 7th place? What is this?
In addition, there were only two performances in between which were not sufficent to break the dull momentum of the hall. (I caught a teacher in the singing performance who had wrote the song lyrics on his palm. Go to my gallery and find it.)
But it was better (in a way) taking pictures then sitting with the audience and stoning.
Sometimes I think some organisers are too inflexible or too dumb.
By the way, Mrs Kok is leaving… Darn. She is a great principal! But she can be a little long winded and naggy but I think she’s great, if you meet her upfront, like I did, when Si Hui passed their class gift to her.
The school also officially opened a new science research lab but it has no furniture yet, haha. It looks cool. Its called the ReD lab. Re = Research and eD backwards, De means development. Poor Fann Ming from 1S08 was the MC for the ReD lab. He stumbled alot during the introduction of the ReD lab to the guests before it was declared opened by Mrs Kok. I guess he was too anxious.
Next year’s Commendation day better be better! Though I probably be busy preaparing my A’s and won’t be watching it…
