Just underwent my ACL reconstruction yesterday. Operation was about 1-2 hours, but I probably was knocked out for 4 hours because of the anesthetic… I hate the after effects of the anesthetic, left me drowsy for 1 whole day. It was only today that I felt much better. Bloody painkillers gave me gastric, dinner had oranges and I didn’t know oranges could cause more gastric problems. Gastric got worse. Bloody dietitian or whoever in charge of my food didn’t think of that. Morons… Hahas.

Got to go for assessment soon. Later I will add some pictures. Those afraid of blood please do not see…

After BMT, got my vocation as ASA, a.k.a clerk at 1 AMB for those who constantly ask me. My hair is growing back after 1 week plus and I still look round… Dammit! 2nd time cutting botak in a 1 year period… I still love the cold aircon air or wind breeze blowing across the top of my head, damm shiok!!! Can save on shampoo too! hahaas.

I have served my 1.5 weeks of NS out of my 104 weeks of NS liability. Another 102.5 weeks more!!! HAHAHAS

Going for ACL reconstruction operations this Friday. Heard is 3 months of MC!!! But SAF restricts movement of those under MC…. Dammit. Hope I still get my pathetic allowance from SAF.

Got some cool crutches for my impending operations, modern style! Heard some moron fractured his arm because he used wrongly. I better not repeat history!

My ODAC juniors are quite pathetic. Quite a disgrace. Almost wanted to screw them upside down when I visited them during training just now. Hiasz….

Nites!

After 1 week of BMT at Pulau Tekong. I am glad to be back, was getting used to the environment there which is not good for me if I did. Hahas. No contact with the world seems like a year. No TV, barely handphone calls and some newspaper readings, feels like the world has advanced while I retreated to the stone age.

BMT experience? I can’t say much as I am not allowed to disclose information. But I can say I enjoyed my BMT with my new found friends and I love my commanders! Section commanders, 3SG Yue Wei, Jason, Sufyian & Song Kai, Platoon commander 2LT Shawn & OC Captain (I forgot his name… opps). They were very patient people and they took good care of us. Whiskey coy rox! Remember: Sir is not a sergeant, sergeant is not a sir! (x5 to remember, repeat more to put inside the permanent brain memory!)

My bunk friends they rock pretty much! My right bunk buddy Fong, whom we share double single beds together, great Timer IC and cool guy! My other bunk buddy on the left was a nice guy too! All the best to your relationship with your girlfriend! 3 years and counting! The other bunk mates, Ben, “Muscleman”, Navin, Chris, “Chun Li”, Shaun (also all the best to your girlfriend and you!), “Bookie”, Yi Song (fellow ODACian) & “Minimart”!

Here’s my first post and probably the last for this month as I am entering the army tomorrow. PES E status, going in for a week. Should come out this weekend then I am probably posted to unit or place to work, admin jobs, hopefully I can get into somewhere which I can be better in, like photographer for Pioneer magazine or an in-house medic.

The SRJC Orientation 08 day 3 pictures will be delayed as I didn’t have time over the weekend to settle them, surprisingly I shot 800 over pictures but I expect only half to be of publish-able. Also to my classmates, jer and matt, sorry but the recent dinner at Grapevine, the pictures will be delayed also. Sibei paiseh, especially to Matt whom I promised that the pictures should be up by this weekend.

To Branson: This coming weekend, no tution with me… Paiseh, maybe after that, can tution in hospital! Hehhes
To my ODAC juniors: Train hard for NVM and have fun. Please have a dry run, find a building that is at least 30 stories tall. Climbing 3 sets of 20 stories is not equal to 1 set of 60 stories.

Packed my stuff, tidy-ed my room, enjoyed my last few hours before going in. Hahas. Sounds so sad when I am going in for only 1 week. I wonder how about the rest with BMT and unit trainings for months. Looks like blog will be dead for awhile also.
